DESCRIPTION
What Is a B complex?
Nutridom B-complex helps the body to metabolize carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. B vitamins also help to form red blood cells, and induce normal growth, development, and tissue formation. Nutridom B-Complex contains all essential ten B vitamins, whose daily requirement can be met by one capsule. Formulation is based on safety and effectiveness; a type of each B vitamin is selected based on clinical result.
Source of Vitamin B is important!
B1: A source of vitamin B1, Benfotiamine, is less toxic than thiamine hydrochloride (most abundant source for vitamin B1 in market). B1 is also better at penetrating cell membrane. There is research that shows benfotiamine may be effective in addressing diabetes.
Food Sources: pork, sunflower seeds, and wheat germ.
B2: A source of vitamin B2, R5P (Riboflavin-5'-phosphate) is an active form of riboflavin. Compromised digestive system can adversely affect conversion from riboflavin to R5P, and there is less absorption by the upper GI tract.
Food Sources: organ meats, beef, and mushrooms.
B3: A source of vitamin B3, Niacinamide, is chosen for its lower likelihood of causing hot flushing at high doses. Niacin and niacinamide serve a similar function, but niacinamide does not cause hot flushing at high doses, like niacin.
Food Sources: chicken, tuna, and lentils
B5 (pantothenic acid): Like other B vitamins, pantothenic acid (helps your body obtain energy from food and is also involved in hormone and cholesterol production.
Food Sources: Liver, fish, yogurt, and avocado are all good sources.
B6: A source of vitamin B6, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, is safer than pyridoxine. Many people have difficulty breaking down pyridoxine hydrochloride in their stomach. P-5-P may be preferentially utilized by the body especially under conditions of physiological or metabolic abnormality.
Food sources: chickpeas, salmon, and potatoes.
B7 (biotin): Biotin is essential for carbohydrate and fat metabolism and regulates gene expression.
Food Sources: Yeast, eggs, salmon, cheese, and liver are among the best food sources of biotin.
B9: A source of vitamin B9, folic acid, has been shown to be beneficial for pregnancy because it is known to decrease the risk of neural tube defects in newborns.
Food Sources: leafy greens, liver and beans.
B12: A source of vitamin B12, methylcobalamin, has higher bioavailability and has lower toxicity issues than cyanocobalamin. Cyanocobalamin requires substances like glutathione for detoxification. Methylcobalamin is the specific form of vitamin B12 that is generally needed for nerve system health.
Food sources: B12 is found naturally in animal sources like meats, eggs, seafood, and dairy.
